‘Evergreen’ variety of mango, total 3 yields in a year, fruits will remain on the tree for 12 months continuously

Thailand’s variety of Thai 12 Masi Meetha remains the favorite of the people at the All India Farmers Fair Pantnagar. This mango variety will bear fruit three times a year. After five years, more than 50 kg of mango crop can be harvested from the mango plant in a year.

A piece of very good news has come for mango lovers from Udham Singh Nagar of Uttarakhand. The country’s largest farmer fair is organized here. Various types of crops are being exhibited at this fair. During this time, a variety of mango which is perennial was exhibited in the fair. You can harvest crops from this mango tree three times a year. Mango lovers will be able to taste this fruit throughout the year.

Fruit-bearing in 2 years :

Thai perennial sweet mango tree of Thailand species has been put on exhibition in the stall of West Bengal in All India Farmers Fair, Pantnagar. The special thing about this variety of mango is that its tree starts bearing fruits from the age of two years. In terms of sweetness it is superior to other mangoes. Besides, this tree is also considered virus-free.

Ayan Mandal, the owner of a private nursery, said that this species from Thailand has been developed by Bangladesh.This is known as Kati Mana. Farmers of Gujarat, Punjab, Maharashtra, and UP are cultivating it commercially and earning good profits. If farmers follow the correct procedure for its cultivation, then they can earn good profits from the perennial mango tree in the coming years.
