About the Magazine
Krishi Ujala is an agriculture-focused magazine designed by scholars of GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUA&T). The magazine aims to promote knowledge sharing on agriculture, allied sciences, innovation, policy, sustainability, and rural development.
1. Categories of Articles Accepted
Contributors may submit articles under the following categories:
- Agriculture & Allied Sciences
- Horticulture, Floriculture & Plantation Crops
- Animal Husbandry & Fisheries
- Agricultural Extension & Rural Development
- Agribusiness & Agri-Entrepreneurship
- Agri-Technology, Startups & Innovation
- Climate Change & Sustainable Agriculture
- Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS)
- Government Schemes, Policies & Success Stories
- Student Perspectives & Field Experiences
2. Originality & Ethics
- Articles must be original and unpublished.
- Plagiarism should be below 10%.
- Proper credit must be given for data, images, or references.
- Opinions expressed are the responsibility of the author.
3. Language
- Articles are accepted in English or Hindi.
- Language should be simple, clear, and reader-friendly.
- Avoid excessive technical jargon; explain terms where required.
4. Word Limit

5. Article Format (Mandatory)

- Clear, concise, and relevant
- Font: Bold, Title Case
B. Author Details
- Full Name
- Designation / Course & University
- Email ID
- Optional: ORCID / LinkedIn
(Author details should appear below the title)
C. Abstract / Introduction
- 100–150 words
- Brief overview of the topic and its relevance
D. Main Content
Use suitable headings and subheadings such as:
- Background / Context
- Current Scenario
- Analysis / Discussion
- Case Studies / Examples
- Challenges & Opportunities
E. Conclusion
- Summarize key points
- Provide future outlook or recommendations
F. References (If Applicable)
- Use simple referencing style
- Example:
- Author (Year). Title. Source/Journal
- Web links should be authentic and accessible
6. Formatting Guidelines
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Alignment: Justified
- File Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)
7. Images, Tables & Figures
- Maximum 3–5 images per article
- Images must be original or copyright-free
- Captions are mandatory
- Submit images separately (JPEG/PNG, high resolution)
8. Review & Editorial Rights
- All submissions are subject to editorial review.
- Editors reserve the right to:
- Edit language and formatting
- Reject articles not meeting standards
- Decide the issue of publication
